Where does all of the money we raise for Hope Express go?

You may be wondering where exactly this money goes. 96% of the funds raised -- 96% --- goes directly to the Four Diamonds Fund. Aside from paying for the entire cost of a child's treatment...

• $20 helps one family for one week to offset gas prices for parents who commute to and from Hershey Medical Center.
  
• $25 pays for one hour of music therapy for the kids.
  
• $150 pays for one day of ongoing outpatient treatment for a child with leukemia.
• $300 helps buy a wig for a child who has lost his/her hair.
• $750 pays for one maintenance visit for therapy for a child with leukemia.
• $800 pays for one day of research in the Hershey labs looking for a cure.

3,300 families have been financially assisted by the Four Diamonds Fund since its inception in 1977, but 1 in 5 children will still lose their battle with cancer within 5 years.
